Trusting in God

Beyond the Pulpit

“Those who know your name trust in you, O God. For you never forsake those who seek you.” (Ps. 9)

Have you recently experienced a storm in your life? Are you struggling with trauma? You are not alone…

With another hurricane blowing in, I was caught in a wind of confusion and fatigue. We just got a family member settled into her new space; with more work to do and a storm on its way. (Ugh)

For those of us who live in areas that are prone to these weather events, one must remain vigilant and on high alert during the season.

Stand Tall…

“You are my help and in the shadow of your wings I will shout for joy. My soul clings fast to you. Your right hand upholds me. My soul thirsts for you, O God.” (Ps. 63)

The Spirit Speaks…

“You cried out and prayed without ceasing.

I know you were scared, but you listened to my voice and did what I asked.

You got to witness my power.

Never doubt what I can do for you!”

Breathe in and breathe out…

Into the Garden

After the storm passed, I was amazed to find a beautiful white bloom on top of my Yucca plant. I took this as a sign of hope that we can rise from the ashes, not defeated and Trust in God!

“Behold, I make all things new!”
