Beyond the Pulpit…
“Chaos once challenged you. The raging waves lifted themselves over and over, high above the ocean’s depths, letting out their mighty roar! Yet at the sound of your voice they were all stilled by your might. What a majestic King, filled with power!” (Ps. 93:3)
Hello Kindred Soul’s,
This week, we find ourselves discerning our spiritual vision, as Jesus Walks on the Water!
After the Feeding of the 5,000, Jesus told his disciples to get into the boat and go to the other side of the lake, while he went up the mountain to pray. As night fell, Jesus was there; praying alone with the Father.
In the meantime, the disciples were making their journey approximately 4-5 miles from the shore. Suddenly, the boat was being tossed about by high winds and heavy seas.
At about four o’clock in the morning, Jesus came to them, “Water Walking.”
When the disciples saw him walking on top of the water, they thought he was a ghost. Jesus said to them, “Don’t yield to fear. Have courage. It’s really me, I am here!”
Peter shouted out, “Lord, if it’s really you, then have me join you on the water!”
“Come and join me,” Jesus replied. So Peter stepped out onto the water and began to walk towards Jesus.
When Peter realized how high the waves were, he became frightened and started to sink and cried out, “Save me, Lord!”
Jesus immediately stretched out his hand and lifted him up, responding, “What little faith you have! Why would you let doubt win?”
And the very moment they both stepped into the boat, the raging wind ceased…
“I walk with Jesus Christ and I am not afraid!”*
Into the Garden…
“For the raging roar of stormy winds and crashing waves cannot erode our faith in you.” (Ps. 46:3)

Don’t Forget: Where We Walk is Holy!
Keep your feet on the ground and your head in the clouds, so you are always in agreement with the Spirit. When we land on our feet, we are right where we are supposed to be.
