United in Hope

Broken not Defeated!

Beyond the Pulpit…

Feel as though you’ve been under a spiritual attack? You are not alone.
Don’t become weary allowing yourself to be pulled in different directions.
Prayer Warriors have moments of despair and hopelessness.
In spiritual warfare, there is always a price to pay for doing this work.
Gather all of your resources. There is no turning back.
“Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life; then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Christ Jesus.”
Jesus said, “Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me.” (Mt. 11)
Remember, when you get down on your knees and ask the Lord to help you get back up on your feet again.
So, in our our brokenness, we, too may rise!

Moringa is a resilient plant determined to come back tall and strong despite weather challenges. We can learn something by her example.

“God of mercy, when we feel that we are surrounded on all sides by the difficulties of life; open the eyes of our hearts to the beauty of your presence and set us free from our fears.” (Br. Roger)
