Beyond the Pulpit…
Do you remember the song, “What if God was one of us?”
As Emmanuel, God became one of us; our Jesus became one of us.
Jesus followed the Father’s compass.
The Father sent Jesus to Jerusalem to celebrate Passover and break bread with family and friends.
As Jesus entered the gates of the city, many were happy to see the anointed one riding through the gates.
Unfortunately, the enemy was slithering around here and there. In the shadows; emotions
ran high with an air of confusion and derision, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.” (Jn. 12)
Who will pay the price?
It’s going to be an emotional roller-coaster these next few days.
See you soon!

Psalms of Hope
This week, as we step “Into the Garden”, the Palm trees are swaying a bit; a sign that a storm is brewing on the horizon.
“Suddenly, a violent storm developed with waves so high the boat was about to be swamped.” (Mt. 8)
