“Listen to me. We’re on our way to Jerusalem, and I need to remind you; all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man shall be accomplished.” (Mt. 20)
“When you raise up your hands in praise, I reach back by touching the tips of your fingers.”
The Palm Leaf is a wonderful symbol of hope and freedom. As we make our way through this Holy Week of Remembrance with Jesus, we start our journey by praising God and being grateful for all the blessings he has bestowed upon us.
“I had a clear understanding of what I was facing. I looked deeply into the faces of the men, women and children I passed on the road-side that day, while making my way into Jerusalem. There were those in the midst of the crowd who understood my journey. My friends were distracted, focusing on trivial things; not comprehending our remaining time together would end abruptly.“
“What was I to do?“
“Follow My Father’s will, even to the death. There was no turning back now!”
Psalms of Hope:
“Yes! Look how you’ve made all your lovers to flourish like palm trees; each one growing in victory, standing with strength!” (Ps. 92)
Prayer of the Week:
While going about your life this week, don’t forget to…
Clap your Hands & Shout for Joy!
“I will give all my thanks to you, Lord, for you make everything right in the end. I will sing my highest praise to the God of the Highest Place! (Ps. 7)
