Prepare Ye The Way…
“And about the eleventh hour, having gone forth, he found others standing idle, and said to them, ‘Why have you stood all the day idle?’” (Mt. 20:6)
Momentum is picking up; there is a road to cross.
It isn’t the big things in life that cause us to stumble; it is the little stuff that remains hidden in the core of one’s being.
“Idleness throws one into a deep sleep, and an inactive soul endures spiritual hunger.” (Pro. 19:15)
Take His Hand…
“Clear a path through the wilderness and make straight through the desert for Yahweh!” (Is. 40)
John prepared the way for Jesus to fulfill God’s promise, “The one who comes after me is more powerful and will fill you with the Holy Spirit.”
How are you preparing for the Day of God?
While you are waiting, make every effort to have clarity and purpose in your comings and goings. Do not lean on your own understanding.
Are You Ready?
“I am sending my messenger ahead of you and he will prepare the way.”
Can you see him?
Further Contemplation:
“Preparation is allowing the Word of God to examine you closely. If there is anything hidden, allow God to search you with His light. If it is important enough for the Holy Spirit to bring to your mind, it is the very thing that needs to be released.” (Utmost)
