Don’t Look Back

Beyond the Pulpit

It doesn’t matter where you’ve been but where you’re going.
I don’t care what denomination you are and neither does Jesus.
Use the spiritual tools the Lord has laid at your feet to shield you from the anger and anxiety that is floating around out there. Why do this?
After a distressing conversation with a friend; intertwined with much agitation and uncertainty, the Lord encouraged me to create this new teaching, “Don’t Look Back.” I pray it will bring you a sense of forgiveness and peace.

“Don’t fight the opinion of another, step aside and be!”

Stand Tall…

Our beloved St. Francis said it best…

“Lord, make me a channel of your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is discord, harmony;
Where there is error, truth;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy…”

“Don’t let us in our ignorance look back, but turn our hearts towards you!”(Ps. 85:8)

The Spirit Speaks…

“O Divine Master, Grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.”

“Bless the Being and the Path She/He is on.”*

Breathe in and breathe out…

Into the Garden

Meet “Evening Primrose.” She likes to pop up in late spring just before summer. The yellow flower will open after the sun has passed for the day and will stay around for a day or two before going back to the earth. What does Evening Primrose have to teach us? We are only here for a short time. Make the most of the life God has given you!

“As you contemplate your path in life, remember you are part of the great mystery of God!”*
