Behold I Stand at the Door

“I have never stopped knocking on the door of your heart. I have never stopped believing in you or loving you.”

Some years back, while sitting in a meeting; on the side wall of the room I was sitting in was a picture of Christ knocking at the door. I was praying about a decision to stay or leave my present location. What was the Lord calling me to do? As I stared at the picture, focusing on Christ’s hand on the doorknob, a spiritual wave hit me like a ton of bricks.

This is what happened to me, the door opened wide. I felt Christ’s spiritual power running through me and the answer I sought was given. I was to leave. Although the road ahead would be rocky, I trusted that Jesus had it all under control.

What did Jesus say, “Ask and you shall receive. Knock and the door will be opened unto you!”
