A Spiritual Life Apart

“You will call to me and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will search for me and when you search for me with all your heart, you will find me.” – (Jer 29)

Are you ready to live your spiritual life apart?

The spiritual life has two parts.

First, we discover the life of prayer and oneness with God.

We focus our mind and hearts on the hopes of this day, becoming spiritually fit, so we can move in the direction God wants us to go, and carry out His will.

Christ calls to us: “Seek me, love me, and find joy in me. Courage and joy will conquer all troubles; first things first. No perils can affright you, no discipline exhaust you.” (GC)

We go forth from our time of being in His presence, to move along the path.

The 2nd component of the spiritual life apart is how one is sent forth, through her/his interaction with others; those beings God places in our journey of becoming and knowing; those we love, those we tolerate and those we differ with. “Persevere. Can you hold on in my strength? Initiation precedes all real work and success for me.” (GC)

Are you ready to live a spiritual life apart with me; in the world and yet apart with me?
