A Foundation of Faith

“Are you willing to stretch and move in blind faith even though you feel you can’t go on?”*

When closing one door and opening another, having faith is necessary to move forward and finish the work one is called to do!

In prayer, we always need others who will stand with us in the gap; shoulder to shoulder, without pretense.

In 2015, my friends, the “Two Listeners” prayed over me. It was a powerful experience.

As I sat in their living room, I felt the power of the Spirit come over me; it was so strong, I couldn’t move a muscle. God had my attention.

My friends told me that a brand new door is going to open in my life, allowing me to step into new places with Jesus.

As they continued praying, they said, “the Lord is closing a door behind you and it will be sealed shut.”

On Faith and standing in agreement with my friends, I stood up and stepped through the new door the Lord placed in front of me. The words that Jesus spoke, “It is finished” resonated in my Spirit.

I had no idea what was in store for me; only trusting in the prophetic words my friends shared with me that day, combined with the trust I have in my God.

This excerpt taken from E-Sword, Daily Devotions resonated with my Spirit:

“Maybe you are in “God’s Body Shop” right now – and He is pounding out dents, scraping off the old coat of paint that somebody else sprayed on you; cutting out the rust and putting new panels in place. You my friend are being over-hauled! And the final results will certainly be road-worthy – you can count on it!”

Even though we step into a new situation in life, there is always more preparation; discernment via prayer while getting bits and pieces of the new plan along the way. Herein lies the lesson of faith, trusting in God 100%.

“We have to dig in our heels and not waiver until the miracle happens.”*
