When your faith is tested, let steadfastness have its full effect. So, let it grow and as your endurance is developed, you will be complete, needing nothing. (James 1:3-4)
There is great spiritual maturity that is found in steadfastness; the spiritual power to keep on moving when the going gets tough. This is a powerful realization that God is in charge. Good comes to those who remain true to the task while living in co-creative, partnership with God.
Life is a long series of adjustments as you move from one stage of being into another. It takes patience and steadfastness to wait for a particular communication or development to move into view, that leads to a new and different direction in life.
During these (dry) periods when there is no movement and you feel stuck in 3rd gear, know that the good God has in store is coming to pass.
As you prepare to follow a new charted course, act as if; pray and be; affirming divine order.
Every day around 5:30 a.m., I go out into the Chapel of Light to break bread, pray and be; shutting out the cares of this world.
Some mornings, the place is packed with supernatural visitors from that other place.
Right next to the altar is a little stool that I sit on when in meditative prayer. Directly in front of my stool, I have another small folding chair; this is Jesus’ chair.
If I have an issue or problem, I go directly to Jesus; placing all matters squarely in his hands. I feel the presence and the power of the Spirit of God moving in and around me.
As I go deeper into prayer and meditation, I wait and allow the process to unfold.
The answers I get are: “Yes”, “No”, “Wait, don’t do anything” or “Trust me.” I follow the Good Orderly Direction I receive.
Give thanks, dear friends, God is at work. Be steadfast in faith and trust in God!
“Go into the room, close the door and pray.” (Mt. 6:6)
