St. Francis Feast Day

St.FrancisClipart

In the process of transformation, St. Francis of Assisi went from living a life of privilege, to living a life of poverty and simplicity. He totally abandoned his life to Christ in service.
St. Francis began to open his heart to many things and became a lover of everything. We know Francis had a great affinity with the winged and the four legged creatures.
For those of you who are not able to attend a “Blessing of the Animals” this year, and have a four legged or winged companion in your home, I am sending you this prayerful blessing:
“I pray that all members of your family will be blessed, especially your pets.
May they have perfect health and happiness as they continue to spread their love, no matter where they roam. Amen!”
