Seed Faith – Getting Back Into It

“Lord, who shall sojourn in your holy tent; dwelling upon your holy hill?” (Ps. 15)

Everything in life starts with a seed…

Where are you sowing your seed this year?

Before planting, did you take time to look at each seed; sanding down any rough edges, taking care with its placement?

Did you humbly pray for a new beginning to bear fruit in your life?

Is your seed part of God’s garden; providing food or other assistance?

“Nathaniel planted a seed of faith. He witnessed Jesus’ first recorded miracle. Mary planted a seed of faith; helping him to step out onto the world stage in front of his family, performing a miracle by turning water into wine.”

We are moving beyond disappointment into hope.

Stay focused; return to the space where God resides.

And as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and return no more thither, but soak the earth, and water it. Make it to spring and giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater. So shall my word be; which shall go forth from my mouth. It shall not return to me void, but it shall do whatsoever I please and shall prosper in the things for which I sent it. (Is. 55:8)

A little seed has much to say…

You and I can nurture these Seeds of Faith in our lives; we can sow hope, getting all our needs met by the Lord.

“He who supplies seed to the sower; and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing, increasing the harvest of your righteousness.” (2Co 9)
