Reject Me Not

“Yeshua said to them, ‘Have you never read in the Scriptures? ‘The stone which the builders rejected, this has become the chief cornerstone.’”

Hands

Recently, I came through a period of oppression. I am sure many of you can identify with this, especially with everything that is going around us right now. And, mixed in with the oppression was rejection.

“Then someone will ask him, “What are these wounds between your hands?”—and he will answer, “Those that I received in the house of my friends.” (Zech 13)

It took a while for me to “shake off the dust” and put the pieces together. I chose to fully rely on God to fill in the blanks; allowing His truth to come forth, in His time and not mine.

It is hard to be patient in the process…

“Don’t become weary in well doing!” (2Th .3)

One morning, while getting ready to break bread with Jesus, I got a flash of a being with grey hair. He had an angry face and his clothes were tattered and dirty. The vision was a mirror image of what I was experiencing on many levels.

“Know this, my dear brothers and sisters: let every person be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger— for human anger doesn’t produce the righteousness of God.”(Jas 1)

A few days later, I was given another vision. I saw myself on the ground covered with a large, heavy beam. It was holding me down where I couldn’t get up, “I was thrust down, falling.”

Next, I saw a hand removing the beam, lifting me up.

“I called to the Lord in my distress; God answered and freed me. The Lord’s right hand has triumphed; His right hand raised me.” (Ps. 118)

If you are facing any adversity, remember this…

The spirit of indifference cannot dwell where the Light of Life resides. He who is in us is greater than anything that is in this world!
