Following the Call

“My job is to obey the will of the one who sent me and to finish the work he gave me to do.”

Jesus talks a lot about “the work, God’s work.” When the disciples asked him about having a bite to eat, his response was, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.” We are now entering a new season.

Tomorrow, there will be a heavenly and earthly shift; some seen by the human eye and the rest experienced in the spiritual. It is time, Four more months and then the harvest. But I tell you, take a good look at the fields; the crops are now ripe and ready to be harvested!

What are you being called to do?

This morning during my special time of prayer, I heard these words, “Little Tree, Little Tree, go out and represent me”; a final line to a series of writings that will be published later.

I step into this new season with refined tasks; allowing me the flexibility to continue to follow the call and be with clarity and purpose.

St. Therese writes: “He guides and inspires me every month of the day. Just when I need it, a new light shines on my problems. This happens not so much during my hours of prayer, as when I’m busy with my daily work.”

This has always been true for me. In prayer, I ask. In the work or should I say in his work, I receive the inspiration, direction or answer on how to proceed.

“We are transported to another level of consciousness and fit perfectly into a mold that God crafted from our time of birth; filling us with liquid love and moving one into a new m ode of being.”*
