“What is that to thee; Follow Me!” (Jn. 21:22)
The rebirth is coming; it’s happening.
God uses ordinary people to carry out his plan.
We are being called to follow in the footsteps of Christ, moving from a life of what is familiar by stepping into the unknown. “My sheep hear my voice. I know them and they follow me.” (Jn. 10:27)
In his book, “My Utmost for His Highest”, Oswald Chambers asked this question: “Will you go out, not knowing where you are going?”
One of the most difficult questions to answer in ministry work is, “What do you expect to do, when you don’t know what you are going to do?”
“Whether I hear God’s call or not depends on the condition of my ears and what I hear depends upon my spiritual attitude.”
In the moment, God reveals to us via inspiration and insight the path we are to take.
Let your willingness be a continual expression of trust and joy.
One must learn to “go out” through her/his convictions, creeds, or experiences, until you come to the point in your faith where there is nothing between yourself and God. “For you shall go out with joy and be led out in peace.” (Is. 55:12)
“Stepping in and out with Christ requires one to get out of the way.” (Awakening the Inner Ticker of Life, pg. 57)
