Charity

We recognize the need to give a bit of ourselves this time of year and many call it “Charity.”
With so much happening in our nation and the world; it is a time to pause and be.
While we cannot change the events that have happened as of late, I can ask myself, “Have I given to another freely or made a difference in the life of another?”
I have wonderful friends who work in ministry and bless others through their charity, their vocation.
The words of sweet St. Therese describe charity in this way:

Charity gave me the key to my vocation (being of service to another). I realized that love includes all vocations, is in all things, and because it is eternal, embraces every time and place. St. Therese
