Prayer works if you work it.
How do I know this?
There is fruit in prayer.
It is during the times of trial and tribulation that one can see the fruit of prayer, and know how far one has come in her/his prayer life.
It is in the daily task of praying that we trust in God to take care of the details.
If this is the day your life changes, ask questions such as “Am I ready?” “Do I have trust in God?”
Jesus says, “Give me your pain of being a spiritual pilgrim during these changing times. Give me your baggage of life and your burdens. I will carry them for you just as I carried my cross.”
