“I Hear Him Calling!”
The Still Small Voice of the Lord beckons us…
Whose voice are you listening to these days? Is it the bully on the playground or the one rattling around in your head? Getting anywhere?
“The Lord’s voice is on the waters.” (Ps. 29)
“The voice of the Spirit of God is as gentle as a summer breeze, so gentle that unless you are living in complete fellowship and oneness with God, you will never hear it. If you are not sensitive enough to detect His voice, you will quench it.” (Utmost)
The voice of God rests in the Spirit. The Spirit stirs the waters within, allowing God’s truth comes forth.
To deny His voice is to deny ones very existence. Without Him, we lose our external voice, where the Spirit longs to be connected with the source from whence it came.
“There in the silence we hear, “It is good” and so is God!
Listening to His voice is very important right now. Be careful what or whom you are listening to. It will either produce peace of havoc.
The Still Small Voice resonates throughout one’s being with a recognition of the Word settling in and then, moving to the heart. Here is where one experiences a final confirmation and connection with God’s Love.
“If today you hear His voice, harden not your heart!” (Ps. 25)
