Beyond the Pulpit…
We are reaching the end of the trail, On Tour with Jesus; a journey filled with joy, sorrow and victory.
Looking around at those placed in his care; fulfilling all that the Father asked of Him, Jesus shares his final ministry tips. He is beckoning us to lift up our eyes and open our hearts to fulfill his great commission, “As you go into the world, preach openly the wonderful news of the Gospel. Make disciples of all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.”
Jesus lifted up his hands over them. He blessed them with his love and continued with his discourse, “Teach them to faithfully follow all that I have commanded you. And never forget that I am with you every day, even to the completion of this age.”
With his arms stretched out wide; Jesus floated off the ground into the sky, ascending into heaven before their very eyes!”
Now is the appointed season, get ready for lift-off!

Psalms of Hope
Many plants in God’s Garden are struggling a bit during this dry stretch. The other day, I discovered a Turmeric shoot sticking out of the ground; a sign of hope regardless of how things appear on the surface.
One has to look beneath the weeds, grass and dirt to discover what new growth is ready to ascend to its higher call, “Jesus, open my eyes, let my eyes be your eyes!”*
