We are almost half-way to the table, as we await our own personal resurrection within, this Lenten season.
The resurrection of Christ takes place when we accept the realization of the indwelling light of the spirit, that connects us to God, by going deeper and reaching farther.
I was reminded by a friend, during her homily, a few weeks back; in order to be rebuilt, repaired and restored in Body, Mind & Spirit; we can meditate on the words of David found in Psalm 103:
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me; bless his holy name.
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. He redeems my life from destruction.
He forgives all my shortcomings and heals all my diseases. He blesses me with love and mercy and fills me with good things.”
Next week, we will edge ever so closer to the table.
Don’t be impatient, breathe in and breathe out, embracing the words, “Bless the Lord, O my soul!”
