A Message for 2012

“Through my ever-growing faith, may I be set from the hindrances that separate me from God.”

In the beginning of 2011, during my “Time of Prayer and Healing”,  I received a vision.

As I was meditating and praying, I was shown a large mountain full of dirt and rock.

In front of me, on the side of the mountain was a large grey boulder.

I saw myself kneeling and rededicating myself to God.

It was impressed in my spirit that I was going to be climbing that mountain in 2011, and my foundation better be in something solid like a rock, or would be slipping and sliding all the way through.

Kneeling is an act of letting go and a sign of trust in God completely to become the person He wants me to be.

The rock is God. In Psalm 91, the psalmist writes, “You are my refuge and my fortress. You are my God in you I trust.”

God can lift us up and change our circumstances. He is the God of miracles.

Recently, while in prayer, I received another vision.

On the horizon, I saw a sliver of light coming through on the dawn of a new day representing that which is to come in 2012, hope.

Then a dear friend called me with a word from the prophet Jeremiah, “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

Two weeks later, I received a message from another dear friend that it is important to see the good in another, especially those who can cause issues or problems. Think about the good within that being and he/she will begin to grow.

You can find the good in another person, but you don’t have to “join the path”.

As a dear friend told me years ago, “Bless the being and the path he/she is on.”

Just say no if something does not resonate with your spirit.

You are on the path you are meant to be on.

Everything you have worked so hard for is going to come to fruition beginning on January 1, 2012.

The great writer, Emmet Fox sums it up best, “As far as you are concerned, the character that things will bear will be the character that you first impress upon them. Bless a thing and it will bless you. Curse it and it will curse you. If you put your condemnation upon anything in life, it will hit back at you and hurt you. If you bless any situation, it has no power to hurt you, and even if it is troublesome for a time it will gradually fade out.”
